Iraq- Outraged Merchants and Shop Owners Protest in Front of The Central Bank of Iraq in Baghdad.

Near the Central Bank of Iraq, outraged Shop owners and merchants organized a sit-in to protest its decision to devalue the national currency against the US dollar. Protestors demanded the central bank to retract the decision, to craft a solid plan and a clear mechanism to coordinate the work between the central bank and the national banks. Protestors denounced the central bank administration’s failure to lay out successful financial policies.
