Sovereign groups and parties held a vigil in front of the Arab Center for Legal and Judicial Research near the headquarters of the Arab League in Beirut. They delivered the Assistant Secretary-General, Ambassador Abdel-Rahman El-Solh, a message calling the Arab League to perform its obligations towards Lebanon and demanding the Security Council and the international community to adopt the international resolutions on Lebanon, including 1559, 1701, and 1680 which permit restricting weapons to the legitimate state forces and dismantling all Lebanese and non-Lebanese arms and militias, especially Hezbollah’s weapons, the borders protections with Israel and Syria, and expansion of the authority of the Lebanese state over all of Lebanon.
