Iraq- Activists: Concerns over the revival of assassinations against civil movements activists in Iraq

Human rights activists have voiced their concerns about the revival of assassinations targeting civilian activists in Iraq following unknown gunmen assassinated, Salah al-Iraqi, one of the leaders of the October demonstrations in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital. Since the commencement of the popular protests last October, tens of activists have been assassinated, kidnapped and some of them are still missing.
