Dubai-UAE- 17/6/2016
The senior mufti in the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Haddad called the residents of high Towers in Dubai “Burj Khalifa” to delay their breakfast two to three minutes after Athan because there are differences in timing between the residents of high floors and near the ground floors.
Senior Mufti in the UAE Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Haddad, stressed the existence of differences in timing between the residents of high floors and those who are close to the ground in high towers, pointing out that the reason of this difference is that the residents of low floors see the sunset before the residents of high floors.
The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai called Burj Khalifa residents consisting of 160-storey, to break their fast according to three schedules determined by the floors where they reside, as it called the residents of high towers to delay their break fasting for two or three minutes after hearing the Athan, according to their height.
