With the declined value of the dinar compared to foreign currencies in the past years, the deterioration of financial started to deepen in Tunisia where we find that a number of banking institutions are threatened with bankruptcy which led to the economic and financial deficit.

Analysts blame Deflation which is divided to three things, the first thing the absence of growth, the growth rate is close to zero now in Tunisia and negative in some cases. Second almost complete absence of job creation and therefore the unemployment rate increased to the triple, third aspect regards is creating economical Revolution, the economy in this situation is unable to breach the additional wealth. Others think that Recovery of the looted money is important and reduces the pressure on the budget and reduce the trend of debt.
