Jordan: Merchants Utilize Coronavirus Pandemic to Market their Goods.

Covid-19, known as Coronavirus, is a rampant worldwide pandemic that forced people into accommodating their life styles with this new reality. However, it was utilized by some to market their own goods. A hookah and Muʽassel’s merchant took advantage of current circumstances and dubbed his own shop “Covid 19” to raise his sales. However, this disease brought sorrow and grief for some families who have lost a member and accordingly, some expressed their dismay. The shop’s owner justified his move by claiming that such name has become trendy and by doing so, he is keeping pace with the modern world.
