Syria- Iranian Products are Flooding Markets In northern and eastern Syria

The markets in Qamishli – Al-Hasakah Governorate- are flooding with Iranian goods and products, ranging from food, medications and construction materials. Products are transferred through Simalka border crossing. However, Iranian products aren’t up to the Syrian standards, but they are cheap in contrast to Syrian products. The absence of Syrian products forces people into buying the Iranian ones, especially after boycotting the Turkish products.
