Syria- Fear and Consternation among Idlib’s Displaced Persons after the Syrian Regime Forces Breached the Ceasefire Deal

In a new flare-up of violence and a ceasefire breach in the northwest regions of Syria, the Syrian regime forces and Russian jets launched airstrikes on the western areas of Haranabush town, and the mountains surrounding Sheikh Bahar village, from Ma’arrat Misrin’s side, which houses crowds of civilians and displaced persons. Syria Response Coordinators Group documented breaches and escalations committed by the Syrian regime forces and affiliated militias since the deal brokered, to reach 2397 breaches, which consequently stoked fears among displaced people who fled, heading to other areas away from the strikes.
