Most of the women work in IDP camps in Al-Hasakah governorate in different professions, in place of their husbands who lost their jobs and could no longer find other jobs to manage the affairs of their families, as a result of the displacement movement that took place in the areas of Ras Al-Ayn and Tal Abyad, Alia Abdel Razzaq a mother of four children who lives in Washokani camp, worked in sewing profession after she borrowed the sewing machine from her sister, to help her family get the basic necessities of life, including food and drink, especially after her husband lost his job as a mechanic of engines and generators, Alia says that her profession helped them a lot in securing the basic needs of her children, she and her husband also sell the monthly food basket given to them by the camp administration, which contains winter food that is not suitable for summer, so that they can buy with its price the summer needs of vegetables, meat, etc.
