Iraq – Restructuring of undisciplined forces that violate human rights

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi seeks to restructure the law-keeping forces that were formed to maintain security in the protests that began in October of last year, analysts pointed out that these forces are undisciplined forces punctuated by many breakthroughs and failures, as they have deviated from their main duty for which they were formed, which is to maintain security and protect the people and protesters, and experts added that it has become necessary to restructure these forces to perform their duties fully, with the need to observe human rights while carrying out their duties and not bypass the protesters in any way.
