People were killed and hundreds injured in the explosion that rocked the port of Beirut on Tuesday and caused great destruction throughout the Lebanese capital Beirut, the explosion also caused panic among residents, and ambulances have not stopped it took place, the cause of which is not known until this moment, the director general of Lebanese public security, Abbas Ibrahim, suggested that the huge explosion that took place in the port in the afternoon was caused by confiscated and highexplosive materials, the Lebanese government on Wednesday declared a day of mourning for the victims.
