Bahrain – Calls for renewing the arms embargo on Iran

Analysts said that the recent statements issued by the U.S. special envoy to Iran, Brain Hook, showed the U.S. administration’s emphasis on the need to continue the resolution of the arms embargo on Iran because it has contributed over the past years to drying up the sources of terrorist financing in the region, stressing that Washington became aware of the danger of the end of the embargo next October without renewing it because Tehran has repeatedly targeted the United States and its allies, they also called on the international community to take its responsibilities and stand together to renew the arms embargo and confront the Iranian regime.
