Tunisia – Citizens getting ready to welcome Eid al-Fitr under the shadow of Coronavirus

Tunisians have long been known to following customs and traditions when it comes to religious occasions such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, as their preparations for Eid al-Fitr begin at least a week in advance, families shop for Eid supplies, children’s clothes and toys and they never forget to buy sweets of all kinds to be a gift during the greeting and decoration of the Eid morning table, however preparations for the Eid this year differed from previous years due to the curfew, closure of shops and quarantine due to the coronavirus epidemic in Tunisia and the world.
