Palestine – Awqaf rejects Israeli decision to confiscate a land in the vicinity of the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron

The undersecretary of the Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Hossam Abu al-Rub , rejected the Israeli declaration on Tuesday evening to confiscate a land that belongs to the Islamic Awqaf in the vicinity of the Cave of the Patriarchs in the southern West Bank, with the aim of establishing a road for the passage of jew visitors to the Cave of the Patriarchs and installing an elevator that would enable them to climb to the Temple Mount, considering the Israeli decision as a flagrant attack on the Islamic holy sites and the cultural heritage in the city, the ministry confirmed its rejection to this unjust decision and said that it will not deal according to it, adding that these lands are entitled to muslims and that no else has the right to be in these places but them.
