Iraq – Protesters promise escalating steps to remove the President of the Republic and the Speaker of Parliament

Demonstrators in the protest squares in central Baghdad confirmed that the Iraqi government continues to escalate against demonstrators in the sit-in squares, pointing out that the government of prime minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi is only a front, and that the government of the outgoing Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, is still operating, as political parties and blocs continue to rule in Iraq and kill peaceful demonstrators, adding that so far none of the kidnapped protesters have been released, demonstrators pointed out that there will be escalatory steps in the coming days to demand dismissing the President of the Republic and the Speaker of Parliament and overthrowing the ruling regime in Iraq and not just the prime minister.
