Iraq – Demonstrations squares renew their pledge by launching mass protests and rallies

Demonstrators in Tahrir Squares in central Baghdad and other provinces renewed the October revolution, which began on October 1st last year, with hundreds of protesters flocking to the demonstration squares in central Baghdad carrying shields to repel any attempted attacks by riot police, the demonstrators stressed their demands to overthrow all the political elite, abolish the quota system and sectarianism and achieve political and economic reforms in the country, as well as to prosecute the killers of protesters who fell during the country’s protests.
