United Arab Emirates- Dubai launches “World’s Longest Donation Fund” initiative

Under the guidance of The Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, The Emirate of Dubai has launched a “10 million meals” campaign to provide food support to those in need and those most affected by the coronavirus epidemic, the initiative has provided platforms for receiving cash and in-kind contributions from citizens and companies through the “World’s Longest Donation Fund” initiative, the initiative allows individual and corporate donors to donate a bright spot formula that shines on the façade of Burj Khalifa, with each donation of 10 dirhams through the initiative’s website, the 10 million meals campaign, which continues throughout the month of Ramadan, exceeded its goal before its second week of recording about 14 million meals, with the flow of cash and in-kind contributions continuing.
