Iraq – ISIS remains a threat in Iraq

Brigadier General Commander of the Fifth Brigade in charge of Koljo District in Sulaimaniyah, Kurdistan Region, Kamal Mahmoud, said that the threat of ISIS in the region is increasing due to the differences of political blocs in Iraq, and this gave ISIS an opportunity to return to the Iraqi arena and organize its ranks and move freely taking advantage of some security gaps and the large gap between the Iraqi army and Peshmerga forces by launching attacks on both forces, the official of military operations in the Fifth Brigade, confirmed that there must be cooperation and coordination between the Iraqi Peshmerga forces to eliminate ISIS forces and take back control of the area.
