Iraq – Calls for a return to mass protests in Baghdad and southern provinces

Demonstrators and activists called for mass demonstrations on May 10th in The Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and all provinces, to revive popular demonstrations that were forcibly overshadowed by the curfew imposed to cope with the coronavirus crisis in the country, after which demonstrators were forced to suspend their mass protests, that was launched in October last year, and the government has failed to stop it in all ways, demonstrators stressed that their commitment to all preventive measures and curfews imposed to fight the coronavirus will be their top priority , to prevent transmission between residents and demonstrators, and then comes the escalation of the movement of anti-government protests in the country.
