Palestine – Coronavirus dries Gaza’s flowers

A beautiful smell that reeks from inside an orphan greenhouse of flowers and roses in the western governorate of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, however it hides a sorrowful fate for those roses due to the Coronavirus pandemic, as selling thee flowers has stopped almost completely in the local market until these roses became the share of livestock and landfills, while the sorrow in the heart of it owner, Engineer Labad Hijazi, who has suffered losses of more than 150,000 shekels ($41,000) since the beginning of the crisis, he is still hoping that the sale of small quantities and a low price for local stores, at their request, will help him make up part of his loss.
