Syria- Kurds are celebrating Nowruz, despite fears of Corona outbreak

Thousands of Kurds in northern and eastern Syria went out into the arms of nature to revive the National Day of Nowruz, despite self-management decisions in northern and eastern Syria regarding the necessity of embargoes and curfews in fear of the spread of Corona virus in the region, some people believe that celebrating Nowruz, which is the national day of the Kurds, is above all considerations, and that Corona’s concerns will not prevent them from celebrating their national day, others believe that, despite fears of the spread of the virus, they are forced to celebrate so that future generations do not forget their national holiday, which they celebrated for years despite the repression of the Syrian authorities and their exposure to killing, arrest and security prosecutions.
