Iraq – Curfew extended in Iraqi Kurdistan due to Coronavirus

After extending the curfew as a result of the proliferation of coronavirus in the cities of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, the Minister of Interior in Iraqi Kurdistan issued a number of decisions that he announced during a press conference held this morning in Saad Abduallah Hall in Erbil, the most prominent of which of; extending the curfew, asking residents to stay in their homes, pointing out that even though there is a lack of financial resources and support from the federal government and organizations affiliated to the United Nations to the government of the Kurdistan region, it will keep taking measurements to prevent the proliferation of the coronavirus any further.
