Jordan – Citizens Flock to markets out of fear of coronavirus

Shops in the Jordanian Capital of Amman have witnessed a high shopping rush of citizens purchasing basic goods and sanitizers following the Jordanian government announcing 6 new cases of coronavirus, citizens attributed this to their fear of the insufficiency of some of these goods if the country witnessed an increase in the number of infected individuals and stronger government measures than its predecessors, for their part, citizens disapproved of the demand of the people to buy more than they need because the government assured citizens of the adequacy of the strategic stock of its commodities available for more than a year, in addition to keeping commercial shipping traffic as it is.
