Syria – Self-Administration celebrates International Women’s Day

The Women’s Commission of Self-Administration in northern and eastern Syria organized a festive event in the northern countryside of the town of Tarbsbeya/Al-Qahtania in Hasaka province on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The Self-administration in northeastern Syria considers itself to be the symbol of its revolution against terrorism in Syria, while the majority of women assert that women are still being oppressed and persecuted by societies.
