Tunisia – Self-quarantine policy for suspected coronavirus cases

Tunisia recorded only one person infected with the Coronavirus, where the Ministry of Health announced that he was quarantined in a hospital in the province of Sousse, south of Tunis, the ministry figures indicated that 1,600 people were suspected of being infected as they were subjected to self-quarantine in their homes with medical teams assigned to follow up on their health and support them with psychiatrists to reduce patients’ fears and tensions,in the same context, the ministry confirmed the readiness of its hospitals to expand around the country with the latest medical equipment to receive the infected with the virus as well as the protection against transmission from the infected to the medical framework.
