Syria – Medical points at crossings with Iraqi Kurdistan out of fear of coronavirus

After a number of people were suspected of being hit by the Coronavirus in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq, the Self-Management Health Authority in north-eastern Syria established medical points equipped with the necessary personnel and materials to screen passengers through the border crossings with Kurdistan, such as Al-Walid crossing and the Semalka Crossing, showing that their aim the fear that people with coronavirus will enter their areas, which could lead to the spread of the virus.
