Yemen- Iran blames election failure on foreign propaganda on Coronavirus

Iran’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak on its territory, as the second largest focus of its spread in the world after China, according to observers, as if it found a justification for the low voter turnout in the parliamentary elections, and this became apparent after the speech of Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei in which he blamed those who described them Iran’s enemies “sought to dissuade people from voting in elections by exaggerating the risk of the Coronavirus,”  observers blamed the low voter turnout of 42.57 percent -which is the first time that turnout has fallen below 50 percent in Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution – to the government‘s carelessness in encircling the coronavirus and preventing its spread, not for foreign propaganda.
