Syria – Children of Russian ISIS fighters return orphaned to their home

The Department of Foreign Relations of the Democratic Self-Administration in northern and eastern Syria handed over a number of Russian children whose parents were fighting in ISIS to the Russian government delegation at the headquarters of the Department of Relations in Qamishli. The self-administration handed over 35 orphaned children to the delegation after verifying their Russian identity through a DNA test for each of them, calling on the rest of the states to return their citizens to their countries, and to reintegrate and rehabilitate them.
