Iraq – Pro-Iranian parties’ popularity declines in Iraq

Pro-Iranian parties and militias in Iraq have seen their popularity plummet after widespread demonstrations in the country proved that Tehran does not have the alleged popularity in Shiite circles that have formed the backbone of the demonstrations, according to analysts who have shown the decline in the influence of these parties in all countries that witness an Iranian presence on their territories, demonstrators also called on Tehran to stop interfering in Iraqi internal affairs and to stop its parties from influencing their people.
