Iraq: Kurds declare the end of Sykes-Picot agreement.
Information and Culture Foundation in PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) organized an expanded seminar attended by a number of intellectuals to discuss the situation after a hundred years of Sykes – Picot agreement, the Kurds want the international community to draw a new map of the region in light of the deteriorating security situation and control terrorism on large areas in Iraq.
Kurdistan is Witnessing a political and popular movement extensively in Centennial convention of Sykes-Picot which divided the middle east countries with the international Alliance in 1916. The Kurds see that this agreement is over two years ago after ISIS dominated the land in Iraq and Syria and they asked the international community to draw a new map to the area that does not betray them as Sykes Picot did before hundred year.
