Palestine – Agreement on issues related to the upcoming elections in Gaza and Hamas proclaims its readiness

The chairman of the Central Election Commission Hanna Nasser, said that his meeting in Gaza on Monday with Hamas and the representatives of factions and national and Islamic forces, led to a consensus on a number of issues related to the upcoming Palestinian general elections, Nasser noted during a joint press conference with the head of the political bureau For Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh said that everyone is moving in the right direction towards legislative and presidential elections, Haniyeh also announced the readiness of “Hamas” to run in the elections and he stressed on their respect for its results if all the conditions of integrity and transparency were met.
