Syria – ISIS leader killed in U.S. airstrike in northwestern Syria

A “Pentagon” source confirmed that Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, was targeted by an air strike that was described as a covert operation endorsed by U.S. President Donald Trump, it was carried out by helicopters on Saturday in Idlib in northwestern Syria, president Trump is expected to deliver an “Important Statement” at the White House today, CNN quoted U.S. officials saying that the U.S. military is awaiting the results of the DNA and fingerprints tests before issuing an official confirmation of Al-Baghdadi’s death.
