The exchange of shelling between Turkish forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces continues on the Syrian-Turkish border in the district of “Akçakale” in the southern Turkish state of Şanlıurfa, adjacent to the Syrian city of Tal Abyad, after Turkey announced yesterday the start of the operation of “Peace Spring” in the area east of the Euphrates River in north Syria, to cleanse the Kurdish Protection Units (YPG) and ISIS and establish a safe area in order to enable Syrian refugees to return to their country.
