Syria – The 3rd joint patrol conducted in the safe area in the north of the country

Launched yesterday morning, the third ground patrol sought between the U.S. and Turkish forces in the area of Tal Abyad in the north of Raqqa province near the Turkish border in northern Syria, is an implementation of the agreement of the safe area to be established in the north of Syria and concluded between the two parties, the joint patrol crossed the borders from the border of Al-Rifa village about 9 km from the Syrian rear, the patrol also crossed the villages of Al-Issawi, Al-Muhaysin and Quneitra, moving for approximately 45 kilometers in the territory of northern Syria before both forces returned to their bases.
