Somalia – Citizens welcome the decision to appoint Odawa Raje as a commander of the National Army

The decision to appoint Odawa Yusuf Raje, as commander of the Somali National Army, was widely welcomed by many citizens who expressed absolute confidence in Raje’s ability to solve the security problems facing Somalia and to achieve victories in the ongoing battles against al-Shabaab, many of them considered that the handing the army to a young man will encourage young people to work hard so that they can later take over senior positions.
