Somalia – Tribal elders and police agree to fight al-Shabaab

In a meeting between tribal elders and police in Baidoa city, Bay province in southern Somalia, several important issues were discussed, most notably the deadline given to al-Shabaab to contribute to the election of Somali parliamentarians, the meeting resulted in the agreement of both parties to fight anyone who engages in terrorist acts or tries to manipulate the security and stability of the country.
