Somalia – Government Forces regain control over the town of Oteijla from Al-Shabaab movement

Government Forces have recently taken control of the town of Otejela, in the lower shabelle region of central Somalia, which had been under the control of the movement of Al-Shabaab for more than 10 years. This was highly applauded by the people of the town who suffered from the increasing taxes imposed continuously by the movement which forced them to leave the town.
