Palestine- Activists protesting against Israel’s demolition of residential buildings in Wadi al-Hummus

Activists protested and built a sit-in tent near the Separation Wall that separates the two parts of the neighborhood, to reject the Israeli decision to demolish 15 residential buildings comprising 116 apartments inhabited by thousands of Palestinians in Jerusalem, in the middle of Wadi al-Hummus neighborhood in the village of Sur Baher, southeast of Jerusalem. Israeli police has violently removed the sit-in tent in less than an hour and started to fire gas and sound bombs at residents near the tent’s place, and started to demolish them immediately.
