Somalia –Political Analysts: ISIS and Al-Shabaab Movement consensus on Salafi Jihadism and disagreement on power and money

Somalia is still a battleground between Al-Shabaab and ISIS despite the fact that the origin of both movements belongs to Al-Qaeda and the ideological consensus between them is Salafi Jihadism. According to the director of the Heral Institute for Security Studies, Hussein Maalem, who pointed out that the main disagreement between them is power and money, highlighting the fact that ISIS has not been defeated in Somalia and that the war is still ongoing with the Al Shabaab movement.
