Yemen – Houthis targeting civilians in Taiz and demands of UN intervention

The Huthis continue to indiscriminately bombard residential neighborhoods in Taiz governorate in south-west Yemen, causing the deaths of many unarmed civilians, children and women, which rights activists considered a flagrant violation of human rights. They called on the United Nations to intervene to stop targeting civilians and the shelling of residential areas indiscriminately.
