Somalia- Somalia becomes the first country in East and Central Africa to offer MasterCard service

The World Bank of Somalia Director, Abdul Razzaq Ali, announced launching the issuance of the new credit card (World Elite Exclusive) in the country, so Somalia to become the first country in East and Central Africa to provide the MasterCard service. He announced in a speech during a ceremony in the Somali capital Mogadishu, that the card offers a set of services which are not provided in the other (IBS) cards. The Minister of Finance, Abdulrahman Beleh, praised the role of the IBS in providing this service, so that Somalia’s initiative would extend to many African countries where this service is not yet available.
