Somalia- Citizens express their delight for launching Qatar Airways direct flights in Mogadishu

Qatar Airways launched its first flight destination to the Somali capital Mogadishu a few days ago, in a move that aims to help Somalia recover after years of violence and war and contribute to the reconstruction of the country. Somalis welcomed the decision and expressed their delight for launching direct flights between Doha and Mogadishu after facing many difficulties as a result of having to travel from other countries with a higher cost. Citizens said that this step encourages Somali traders and provide an easy access for foreigners wishing to travel to Mogadishu.
