The General Federation of Tunisian Workers opened the International Forum for Regional trade union work for the service of decent work for migrants in Tunis, with the participation of 66 Africans, Europeans and American countries, at which the Forum discussed the file of irregular migration and the humanitarian disasters that result from it, and the need to find a trade union course regarding this migration, in addition to the need to provide decent work for migrants and to listen to the African perspective on the protection of African workers, the labor union in Tunisia has emphasized on standing against European policies that depend on closing the outlets to Arab immigrants and Africans, considering that migration policies must be subject to political, social and cultural control, away from European perceptions of a security character
