Syria – The first forum for written and printed media launched in Qamishli

The Free Media Union in Qamishli, in Hasakah governorate in northeastern Syria, organized the first forum for the development of media institutions and journalists in northern Syria, focusing on the written press, with the participation of a group of individuals interested in cultural and media affairs from various media outlets, especially the written press, the forum was launched to discuss the reality of the written press before the Syrian crisis and after the crisis as well as the freedom offered to journalists, and to keep abreast of new developments and events, the opinions will be gathered in a statement in the form of recommendations addressed to the competent authorities to develop the written media in the region.
