Tunisia: Launch of the Arab Radio and Television festival
The 17th Arab Festival of radio and television activities launched in the Tunisian Capital with the presence of Arab media and artists, the festival aims to develop and upgrade radio and television production to perfection.
With Arab media presence, the 17th Arab Festival for Radio and Television activities launched in the Tunisian Capital which was organized by the Union of Arab States for Broadcasting in collaboration with the Tunisian Television and Radio Foundation and in partnership with Arab Telecommunications Corporation (Arabsat), the festival aims to develop and upgrade radio and television production to perfection.
Participants in the current edition of the festival, which is the largest media gathering for Radio and television in the Arab region with 233 projects in various fields. The festival opened with a bouquet of songs by Egyptian artist Mohamed Alhilo followed with a presentation of the folkloric Sudanese group for artist Omar Ihsas and sealed by Moroccan artist Asmaa Almunawar.
The Minister of Culture and Heritage Preservation Saniya Mubarak and general manager of Arab States Broadcasting Union Abdul Rahim Suleiman honored many artists and media faces like Egyptian actress Bussi, actress Dima Gandlif and Abbas Nouri from Syria and Munther Rihana from Jordan and actress Ghada Zadjali from Oman and Ali Bin Noor from Tunisia .
