Bahrain hosted the draw for the 2016 AFC Youth Championship finals ceremony under the auspices of Chairman of the Bahrain Football Association, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa with media presence, where the tournament includes sixteen Asian teams.
Bahrain hosted the draw for the 2016 AFC Youth Championship finals ceremony under the auspices of Chairman of the Bahrain Football Association, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa with media presence, where the tournament includes sixteen Asian teams and it will be held in Bahrain from the thirteenth until thirtieth of October of this year.
The draw ceremony began with the arrival of sponsor of the event and guests of the teams participating in the tournament, and then a video clip was viewed centering content on the AFC Youth Championship finals, the ceremony included a review of the art “Alartha” as one of the popular traditions of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and then announced the readiness of Bahrain to host tournament .
The results of the draw were as follows:
Group I: the Kingdom of Bahrain (the host, Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, while the second group included all of North Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Iraq, Vietnam.
The third group was undertaken by each of the State of Qatar, Japan, Yemen, and the Republic of Iran, and in the end came the fourth set to include Uzbekistan, China, Australia and Turkmenistan.
