Palestine – Weak purchasing movement in the Gaza markets as Eid al-Fitr approaches

 The effects of the worsening crises that hit the Gaza Strip repeatedly seem to be intensifying day by day, under the Israeli blockade that had been imposed for more than 13 years and the difficult economic conditions of the sector’s population, the purchasing movement and market demand have been very weak, especially as Eid al-Fitr approaches, as the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr did not appear to be present for the people of Gaza, citizens pointed out that many people could not buy the supplies and clothing needed for Eid al-Fitr for their children, and demanded citizens to open the crossings and lift the blockade imposed on the Strip so that the residents of Gaza can have a better life.
