Somalia – Al Shabaab enters Mogadishu and carries out several attacks during the month of Ramadan

 Despite the tight security measures imposed by the Somali government on the capital, Al Shabaab group has been able to enter Mogadishu and carry out 10 attacks during the month of Ramadan, killing a number of government officials, including a former foreign minister, army officers and civilians, amid fears of other bombing incidents in the remaining days of Ramadan, political analyst Abdulrahman Maalim, noted that despite these incidents, the government’s actions reduced bombings in this month of Ramadan compared to last Ramadan.
