Tunisia – Analysts : Libya’s war makes Tunisia’s situation difficult
Tunis – Tunisia 29/05/2019
Libya has been under the control of a civil war for more than two months between the armed forces of the Libyan Government of Concord and the Libyan army under the leadership of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, causing death and injury and some seeked refugee in Tunis, analysts say this war has negative repercussions on Tunisia, especially on the security and economic aspects, since the outbreak of the war, security reinforcements on the border remain intense out of fear of infiltration by terrorists, in addition, the influx of nearly half a million refugees since 2011 has been the heaviest burden for both the Tunisian Government and the citizens, this has been clearly demonstrated by the rise in prices on one hand and the contraction of trade between the two countries as a result of the closure of the border corridors which has harmed Tunisia’s economy.
