Tunisia – Direct-to-Consumer points of sale met with high approbation
Tunis – Tunisia 09/05/2019
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries in Tunisia has set up fifty-four points of sale in several Tunisian cities ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. At these points of sale, citizens can purchase fresh meat, vegetables, fish, sweets and many other commodities directly from the manufacturer at preferential prices. The International Land Bureau has also deployed monitoring points to monitor these points of sale and control the prices of Ramadan commodities, in order to avoid a misbalance in supply and demand. These direct-to-consumer points of sale were met with high approbation by many Tunisians who wished these points would be available all year long.
